folio

A personalized basket of investments that is traded as one issue, giving investors the ease of investing in a mutual fund without the tax penalties associated with them. Folios can be selected from a list of pre-packaged portfolios and customized to suit the investor or designed from scratch. In either case, brokerage firms offering folios will charge a fee to set up the account in which the folio will be held.
