Her Majesty's Treasury

The economics and finance ministry of the United Kingdom, the equivalent of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It is responsible for creating and implementing economic and financial policy, as well as tracking departmental spending throughout the British government. Its origins can be traced to the reign of King Henry, coming into existence the year 1126 initially serving as the location where the king kept his treasures.
