Financial exchange created by leading commercial banks of the RF, the Bank of Russia, the Government of Moscow and the Association of Russian Banks in 1992. The exchange is recognized as the most-organized and respected exchange in Russia. Trades are not conducted at one location, but rather across 50 cities in Russia. These trades are made with an electronic-trading system that transports the data over the Internet and to MICEX.
