The process of determining trade for a particular security based on price movement alone. The practice of price action does not employ the use of lagging indicators and is therefore highly subjective, with each individual investor interpreting raw data in his or her unique way by utilizing a "naked" price chart. This focus on price movement is believed by some to provide all the data necessary to analyze any given market and predict future movement.
